What can you do with a free LutinX account

A free LutinX account lets you start protecting your work right away. You can register up to 33 documents (contracts, creative works, legal files, etc.) on the Blockchain, creating immutable proof of ownership.. After you complete KYC, your allowance increases to 100 total registrations. You also gain access to your personal Dashboard, where you’ll find the apps available for your license and start using LutinX services.

💡 Why Blockchain matters

When you register a file with LutinX, it is notarized on blockchain.

This means:

  • The file receives a unique fingerprint (hash) that proves it existed at a specific date and time.

  • Once recorded, the data is immutable — it cannot be changed, deleted, or manipulated.

  • Anyone can later verify the authenticity of the registration, without needing to trust a third party.

Unlike traditional databases, blockchain works as a transparent and decentralized ledger: information is stored across many nodes, making it more secure, resistant to tampering, and globally verifiable.

In simple words: with blockchain, you get a permanent, trusted proof that your work belongs to you.

What you can do today (no advanced setup)

  • Register & certify documents to create immutable, time-stamped proof on blockchain.

  • Protect intellectual property (via the Copyright app/area) for creative and business content.

  • Keep a secure record of your certified files inside your dashboard.

  • Access your private dashboard to manage documents and apps.

  • Decide later if you want the verified profile (KYC/blue check) or a paid license.

Tip: You can protect texts, PDFs, images, designs, audio/video files, source code (often via ZIP), and more. If a file is large, compress it first.

What you can protect (practical examples)

LutinX allows you to certify ownership and authenticity of many types of content, making them immutable and legally verifiable.

Examples include:

  • Creative works: books, articles, screenplays, photographs, artwork.

  • Business documents: contracts, agreements, project designs, blueprints.

  • Academic works: theses, research papers, scientific publications.

  • Music and multimedia: songs, lyrics, recordings, videos, podcasts.

  • Design and branding: logos, sketches, patterns, product designs.

  • Software & code: source code, algorithms, innovative projects.

This ensures you can prove authorship and ownership, protect against plagiarism or disputes, and present valid evidence if needed.

How to: the three most common tasks:

1) Register (timestamp) a document

  1. Open your Dashboard.

  2. Enter the Document Registration / Timestamping area (you find it as L.STAMP).

  3. Upload your file (PDF, JPG/PNG, DOCX, ZIP, MP4, etc.).

  4. Add a title/short description so you can find it later.

  5. Complete all the required fields, choose the category, and select the Creative Commons license if applicable.

  6. Sign in the designated box.

  7. Click Register/Certify.

  8. Wait for the success message — your proof (hash + date/time) is now recorded on blockchain.

  9. Download the certificate/proof file if available, and keep it together with your originals.

Good to know: If a file won’t upload, try renaming it (no special characters), compressing it, or checking your connection.

2) Protect your copyright (creative/business content)

  1. From the dashboard, open the Copyright Zone.

  2. Upload the work (file or ZIP) and add the essential details (title, author/owner, notes).

  3. Review and confirm.

  4. Save the certificate/proof provided after registration.

When to use this: books, articles, scripts, songs, mixes, photos, artwork, designs, brand assets, UX/UI files, source code.

3) Find, verify, and share your proof

  • Go to My Registrations / Certifications (Download area showing previous uploads).

  • Open a record to view timestamp details (date, time, hash).

  • Use the Download or Share options provided there to keep a local copy or share evidence as needed.

Tip: Keep your original file unchanged after certification. If you edit it, certify the new version too.

Troubleshooting (quick fixes)

  • Upload fails → rename the file, compress it, or try a stable connection.

  • Can’t find a registration → refresh the page, check My Registrations/Downloads.

  • Need to certify a new version → upload it as a new registration (keep both versions).

  • Unsure which app to use → start with Timestamp/Registration; use Copyright when you need explicit authorship protection for creative works.

  • Temporary vs. final registrations → you can set if a registration is temporary, which has a limited duration (remains in the register for 30 days), or a definitive (permanent) record.

👉 Remember: all registrations are written on Blockchain, whether temporary or permanent. This means:

  • Every registration (even temporary) is deducted from your available quota.

  • A Blockchain record cannot be deleted or changed.

  • If you later modify the file, you must create a new individual registration for the updated version.
